33 on Mac Bar and Grill: A Must-Visit Dining Experience in Altoona

Typical Altoona pub atmosphere. Friendly Altoona service. And who doesn't love macaroni and cheese. We also had the cheesecake at the end, which was served like a scoop of ice cream. Oh my gosh that was good. We had an early dinner so it wasn't too crowded.

We have been seeing this on social media and decided to drive the hour to try it. It was 100% worth the drive. The portions are huge. We ended up taking some of it back home. Service was above. Prices were reasonable. We had the shrimp boil, taco, and just regular Mac. All were delicious! We even got some Pretzel bites which were appetizing as well. Would love to come back one day!

Deserves nothing less than five stars in my honest opinion this is the best place in Altoona to eat. Presentation and quality was nothing shy of perfect. I recommend this place with no hesitation whatsoever. Try yourself some 33 on Mac is absolutely worth it.

Nice place to grab lunch. Ordered the BBQ chicken Mac that came with pretzels and salad. All of the food came out very quickly and our server Holly was so nice !

First time here, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I would totally go again if I'm in the area. I ordered a mac-n-cheese dish & it was amazing! My friend ordered fries & she was very happy with hers. The prices were similar to what you'd spend at any restaurant. There's not a ton of seating, but if you're not in a big group you should have no problem. They had a ton of different cheesecakes, but I didn't try any.... maybe next time

Overall a very pleasant experience, and I am happy to see something like this in the area. I highly recommend stopping in to try it out. I ordered the Hot to Trot and overall it was good. Serving size was enough to be two meals since it comes with the salad and breadstick. I could see myself housing the whole meal if I was really famished. As for the quality, Mac and cheese base itself is good, nothing too crazy about the cheese, not smoked or spiced in any particular way, which is what you would expect since the really awesome part of the meal is the custom ingredients that accentuate the mac. I would add just a slight bit more of the maple syrup and bacon if I was trying to make this particular order perfect. I feel like 2 slices worth of bacon wouldn't be too much to ask for on a 13 dollar bowl. Aside from that small gripe, I truly did enjoy it. I am looking forward to returning and trying some of the other meals.

First time here as 33 on Mac. Nicole & Mykala hustled and were very good. Friendly, smiled, made suggestions and even mentioned the live music Saturday night. The dry rub wings were very tasty. Loved the crispy crunchy way they are prepared and served. The pizza was ok. It's not like the former business that operated in this building. The Mac & cheese was good. As was the atmosphere. They gave an old building a makeover, changed the flooring, the lighting, the seating and the ambiance. They have a lot more than Mac & Cheese. So forget the old and welcome the new! Ask for Nicole or Mykala and you won't be disappointed.
